Born Soghomon Gevorki Soghomonyan ("Սողոմոն Գևորգի Սողոմոնյան" in Armenian). He also used "Կոմիտաս Վարդապետ", which is Komitas Vardapet in Armenian script. Note that Vartapet or Vardapet is a religious title, it is not his surname, so he should be alphabetized under Komitas, not under Vardapet
