Originally named ‘Diamond Lie’. Following the addition of Layne Staley, they were also periodically named ‘Mothra’ and ‘Fuck’ (amongst other names) until settling on ‘Alice in Chains’, after Staley’s [artist:5ec4ba3a-83b9-4623-9f63-8a1e3cfa1de5|old band].
