While Mr ''Duke'' performed with a number of jazz stars (''Cannonball Adderley'', ''Sonny Rollins'', ''Don Ellis''), his talent goes beyond jazz piano. Experimenting with synthesizers in the 70's, he worked on a number of records with ''Frank Zappa'', played in R&B formations and produced pop artists.
