HISTORY. The band "Marco Polo" was founded in the spring of 2014 by three founders - Lyudmila Savostianova (music, lyrics, vocals, arrangement), Vadim Savostianov (Director, producer, PR-Manager) and Pavel Salomatin (Deputy Director, bassist and creative designer). The first release with the same name "Marco Polo", as well as its first concert the band gave in the spring of 2014, and since then has been actively performing and keeping creative activities. THE MUSIC AND THE STYLE. Generally, the band's music can be classified as "folk-rock", but the work of "Marco Polo" is hard to characterize in any style. Ludmila Savostyanova uses different approaches in every song she writes and tries to consider every composition as a soundtrack to some movie or the story. Thus, various style elements penetrate in the music, such as, for example, neo-classical, folk, hard rock, power metal, etc.
