The band has had several variations of the name; their first album and the subsequent EP were released as '''Maij' Karman Kauniit Kuvat''' or '''MKKK''' (the EP was later re-released as '''Maj Karman Kauniit Kuvat'''), the next four albums as '''Maj Karman Kauniit Kuvat''' and the latest ones as '''Maj Karma'''. There hasn't been any major changes in musical direction or radical line-up changes after the first album. Therefore the latest name is used to avoid confusion, because the band prefers "Maj Karma" and everyone has already used it informally for years.
