First being a free jazz drummer, Mr ''Jackson'' played with the whole who's who of the 60's - ''Albert Ayler'', ''Charles Mingus'', ''Ornette Coleman'', ''Cecil Taylor'', ''Jackie McLean''... He eventually moved to his own stuff, ''Decoding Society'', mixing together funk and free jazz influences.
