The booklet of both CD releases states 1972 as the founding year (actually a renaming of [https://musicbrainz.org/artist/b491bffc-7198-4658-ad35-dffeb4396190|Strange Power] - under this name Elings and Zomer had already released 2 singles in 1971). In 1976, Elings and Zomer left the band, leading to several lineup changes in rapid succession. Recordings for a third album were made with Rens Newland, Rob Franken, Robert Vink, and Arthur Clark, but the album was not released. It wasn't until 2010 that surviving copies of these recordings were compiled and digitally released as [https://musicbrainz.org/release-group/5dda80c3-1ad6-42ca-a9e0-821b34a8b6e0|Scope III]. Since the original recordings were destroyed in a fire, only material of sometimes very poor quality was available.
