'''Nora Brown''' is an American musician and singer who plays old-time traditional music with a particular interest in eastern Kentucky and Tennessee banjo playing. Brown has released a solo recording. She has performed at numerous venues and festivals. A National Public Radio article referred to her as a "teenage banjo prodigy," and a "rising star". At age 12, she was the subject of a documentary short film funded by the Tribeca Film Festival, "Little Nora (plays the banjo)". She performed on an NPR Tiny Desk Concert in 2021. It stated that she was a 10th grader at the time. Brown started learning ukulele at the age of 6 from the late Shlomo Pestcoe.
