=== Biographical notes === Carlos Osuna was born in Mazatlan from M. Santiago Osuna Montaño and Mrs Magdalena Tolentino Luna. He started learning singing on the suggestion of his high school music teacher, Cristina Vadillo. He sang as a soprano until he was sixteen, when his vocal range changed to tenor. He approached music as a singer and admits playing the guitar and the piano with a basic knowledge and style. Furthermore, he became a member of Ángela Peralta's choir in Mazatlan, and then was invited by M Enrique Patrón de Rueda to achieve his studies in Mexico City. He auditioned for M Dennis O’Neill, at the University of Wales, but couldn't fill the position due to the proposed economic conditions. M Dennis O’Neill sponsored his membership at Basel Theater young artist supporting training, and at the end of 2010, started to be contracted by Wien State Opera.
