=== Short biography === Espectacion Gutierrez Benitez was born on 1938, June 5th in La Noria a small town of Mazatlán municipality, Sinaloa state, Mexico, as the son of M Pedro Gutiërrëz and Mrs Petra Benitez. He learned percussions as a self taught musician, hearing only the radio, and started a career when he was 19 years old as a member of the band that backed the singer, actor, imitator, Daniel Herrera Becerra who was best remembered under his artist name "El Sanfarinfas Show". He then moved to Culiacán where he became member of a band that supported the tours of the actress and singer Marga Lopez. In 1959, José Martines "El Pulgas" and Fermín Rodriguez convinced him at integrating the staff of [artist:1e7b781d-2616-4d8a-b194-99ace90659e2|Banda el Recodo de Don Cruz Lizárraga] whose which, he played music for over 23 years.There, he notably worked and recorded with the famous Mexican singer [artist:6ace31a6-6b63-4f20-be6b-5e1f6b3377ac|Pedro Vargas]. After he ended his contract with Banda el Recodo, he created the '''Sonora Playa Tropical''' band and also worked in Tomasito Pérez's.
