Formerly called: Johan Patrik Mattias Axelsson. Johan's name first was "Johan Patrik Mattias Liiva" as his parents weren't married. They got married before he was 18, so his last name had to be changed to Axelsson. When his parents divorced, he changed his last name back to Liiva (people can legally change their last name a couple of times in Sweden). The surname Liiva is after his maternal grandfather Elmar Liiva, who came to Sweden from Estonia (part of the Soviet Union at the time) during World War II in the 1940s.
