Julian Nicholson, known professionally as J.Cuse, is an American record producer originally from Syracuse, New York. After relocating to Indiana at a young age, he found himself drawn to music production, learning to build melodies and drum patterns inspired by soul records and the sounds he uncovered through early crate-digging and experimentation. During his high school years, an unexpected chance to work with multi-platinum artist Shad Moss (Bow Wow) gave him his first real entry point into the industry. What began as a bedroom dream in Indiana quickly shifted into something tangible, solidifying his direction as a producer. Nicholson later moved to Los Angeles, where his career expanded significantly after signing with Grammy-winning songwriter John Conte Jr. (“Blame It on the Alcohol”). Surrounded by experienced producers and major-label talent, J.Cuse honed his style and began landing placements with both emerging artists and well-established names across the music landscape. As his catalog grew, his work stretched far beyond traditional studio sessions. J.Cuse has delivered production across a diverse spectrum of major and independent acts, collaborating with industry heavyweights including Birdman, Tory Lanez, Curren$y, Mark Battles, Dizzy Wright, French Montana, Jae Millz, and more. J.Cuse has also landed television placements across prominent networks such as NBC & Nickelodeon. J.Cuse continues to push forward creatively, producing for artists, film, television, and digital media
