Maceration was a project of Invocator members. On their debut "A Serenade of Agony" Dan Swanö sung the vocals using his famous other alias Day Disyraah. Jacob Hansen from Invocator performed the drums. Swanö and Hansen left the band that transformed into a hardcore band with the name Self.
