One of the top piano accompanist of the 50's and 60's era, Wynton Kelly contributions to ''Miles Davis'' formations are to be remembered - and to less extent ''Charles Mingus' ''. His own discography includes some fine sessions, unfortunately interrupted by a premature death. ''Kelly at Midnight'', or ''Whisper Not'' are both excellent entrances to his world.
