The group formed in late 1973, but after two years, the geographical disparity between members was too much to overcome. Wayne and Wes in Cana, Virginia, Herschel in Roanoke, Virginia, and Tom McKinney in Asheville, North Carolina, the distances were prohibitive and the band ultimately folded.
